Congratulations to the 14 Year 5 pupils who made such a good impression on our European neighbours in the French twin town of Spelthorne, Melun, this week. We visited two schools and spent three days, the pupils divided into two groups, in each. Mrs Sabine Kerr, mother of Thomas in 5E, School Governor Bob Davies and his wife Cathy accompanied the pupils and Miss Eastaugh. The pupils mixed in extremely well, practising their French every day and they made lots of friends! We enjoyed fine weather for most of the week, especially for our day in Paris. The theme of the project for this year was cartoons, and we will show the parents our presentation 'Cartoon Characters Have Talent' on an evening to be held later in the year, along with the diaries we made of our trip and project. Well done everyone.
