To avoid disappointment please contact the Registrar as soon as possible if you would like an individual tour of our Sunflowers Nursery. As of November 2009 we only have five places left for our N2 year intake (rising 4) into Sunflowers Nursery for September 2010.
Sunflowers Nursery at Staines Prep accepts boys and girls in the term they are rising three years of age. They may attend part time or full days.
The children learn happily through structured activities within a bright, well resourced and caring environment. The curriculum is carefully planned to meet the needs of all of the children and provide them with a rich learning experience. During the Summer 2009 we installed interactive whiteboards throughout the School including our Sunflowers Nursery. Their introduction has added another dimension to our teaching enabling teachers to communicate information and ideas effectively and efficiently.
Sunflowers Nursery has its own outside area and the children also use the wider school grounds. The boys and girls enjoy their many local mini-visits and welcome a variety of visitors into the Nursery. During their time in Sunflowers the children grow in confidence and develop an enthusiasm for learning. Before and after school childcare (SPARKS) is available daily plus a Holiday Club during vacations. |
