Early Years Entitlement
Currently Surrey County Council provides with a grant for three and four year old children for up to 5 sessions of three hours per week. This is subject to an Early Years Free Entitlement parental registration form being completed. These are available from the school.
Since January 2004, Surrey County Council (SCC) has provided six consecutive terms of funded nursery education for all three and four year old children from the term after their 3rd birthday.
Date of birth falling between will be eligible for six terms from:
- 1 September and 31 December Spring term
- 1 January and 31 March Summer term
- 1 April and 31 August Autumn term
The full grant for 5 sessions (£60.45pw) this year (Sept 2011 – Aug 2012) is as follows:
• Autumn term - £785.85 (13 weeks)
• Spring term - £664.95 (11 weeks)
• Summer term - £664.95 (11 weeks)
Children attending part-time hours at our Sunflowers Nursery will receive a grant based on the number of sessions attended.
2011 – 2012 Example:
1) autumn fee 3 x full days: £1515.00 / grant £471.51 / payable £1043.49
2) autumn fee full-time: £2525.00 / grant £785.85 / payable £1739.15
