School Council

What happens at a meeting?
The Council meets on Monday lunchtimes; the form representatives bring up points made to them by their classmates at form times. These form the future agendas for subsequent meetings.

The Deputy Head, Mr Malcolm Amiss chairs the meetings and ensures everyone has a chance to speak and in some cases, vote.

Elections
School Council reps are elected every term but no one can serve more than once during a school year. All candidates are invited to hustings before the class votes.

Actions Following
Decisions made by the School Council can be seen throughout the School. Below are a couple of examples:

  • New bag racks
  • New Homework Diaries
