Year 2 - Visit to Windsor
After much weather watching Year 2 were spoilt by a lovely sunny day for our trip to Windsor. The children thoroughly enjoyed getting to Windsor by train and, once there, began our day of sketching. We were lucky enough to catch the Changing of the Guards twice and were amazed at how smart they looked. After that we had a stroll around the town, spotting all the different types of buildings as we went. We then had our picnic in Great Windsor Park where the children got to play in the playground and then sketch the view of Windsor Castle.
A fantastic day was had by all and a big thank you goes to the parents who helped out on the day.
