Peter Pan

Following auditions, the whole cast began rehearsing after school and at weekends during the Spring Term. As the date drew nearer, rehearsals increased and small groups of children could be seen around the School practicing for the big night. All of their hard work was well worth it as audiences were treated to a wonderful production in The John Crook Theatre at Halliford School on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

All of the children played their parts with great enthusiasm, but special mention should be made of Naomi T as Peter Pan, Joe R as Captain Hook and Shivani K as Wendy. It was a truly spectacular performance!

Our sincere thanks go to Halliford School for the use of the theatre and Rishard Amod and his technical support team; to Mrs McDougall for producing the sets; Mrs Stewart and her make-up team; Iain Russell and James for the sound; all of the back stage crew; front of house helpers; Mr Heath for tickets and the programme; the Friends of Staines Prep for refreshments and the raffle and all other helpers.

But a very special thank you must go to Mr Amiss, Mrs Tudor-Owen and Mrs Russell for their direction and production of the show and the many hours they spent encouraging the children, enabling them to perform so well.
