Christmas Event Brought Fun & Fresh Funds to Staines Prep

The figures are in and Staines Prep delightedly reported to parents this week that its recent Christmas Fayre raised more than £2,300, which will go towards buying new equipment for the Gresham Road school and its nursery.

The 29 November event, organised by the Friends of Staines Prep, the fund-raising arm of the school, was enjoyed by more than 200 friends and families who took part in all the activities laid on during the fun-filled afternoon.

Visitors enjoyed many festive attractions, including tombolas, a Christmas craft room, face painting, Father Christmas in his grotto and stalls selling items from jewellery through to toys, with a backdrop of classical music being played by a string quartet from Royal Holloway University.
