Chelsea FC Foundation – BHM Workshop

Last half term, pupils in Years 4-6 had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a workshop hosted by the Chelsea FC Foundation, where they explored the importance of black history and its influences within the world of football. Inspired by the flags often seen at football matches, our pupils created their own flags to celebrate Black History Month.

We are particularly proud to announce that a selection of children were hand-picked by Alfie Butwell, the programme lead, for their exceptional work during the workshop. In Thursday’s assembly, the children were presented with special Chelsea FC prizes as recognition for their effort and creativity.

Congratulations to the following pupils:

  • Nyra C (4M)
  • Dhiyan M (5R)
  • Dishi J (5R)
  • Laila A-D (5S)
  • Alaana P (5S)
  • Mahad H (6L)
  • Zea A (6L)
  • Riva T (6C)
