Admissions Process

Our Admissions Process below gives an overview of the journey that a prospective parent takes when looking for a place at Staines Prep for their child, from the initial enquiry through to starting:

Admissions Process
Visit Staines Prep	Attend one of our Open Mornings, or arrange a Personal Tour with our registrar. Click here to book a place.
Register your child	Complete our online registration form – www.stainesprep.co.uk/register-your-child. Include a copy of your child’s birth certificate and the registration fee of £100 for Nursery (VAT exempt) or £120 for Reception to Year 6.
Place offered	Places are offered following receipt of the registration form and a visit to the school. An offer letter and New Joiner Agreement form will be sent to parents.
Place accepted	To accept and secure a place, the New Joiner Agreement must be completed and submitted with a deposit of £900.
Getting to know you session (EYFS only)	Appointments are arranged for a member of our staff to visit your child’s current setting and for your child to visit Staines Prep.
Assessment (Year 1 upwards only)	Pupils wishing to join Staines Prep from Year 1 will be assessed to ensure they are placed in an appropriate class upon entry.
Welcome events and an induction programme will follow once the admissions process has been completed.
