Black History Month

October is Black History Month in the UK – a time to commemorate and celebrate the histories, achievements, contributions and cultures of black people and communities in Britain.

On Monday the children at SPS will be introduced to Black History Month and begin to explore the significant role that black people have played in the past and in shaping modern British society.

Throughout October, the children will learn more about black history and the achievements of significant black men and women across a range of fields. More updates will follow!
