The Friends of Staines Prep

The Friends of Staines Prep, our Parent Teacher Association (PTA), known as The Friends, bring together pupils, their parents and families and the staff.

The committee is made up of enthusiastic parents and staff throughout the school who raise funds for us, by organising a range of fun events and activities for the children and their families throughout the year. The Friends rely on parents to volunteer at both the planning stages of any event, as well as on the day itself. Please come along to our coffee mornings to hear about how you can get involved.

Upcoming Events

The current committee is made up of the following members:

The Friends organise a number of events each term, for both the children in school time and weekend events for the whole family. These include:

• Pre-loved Uniform Sales
• Pupil Discos
• Macmillan Coffee Morning
• Winter Market with Santa’s Grotto – Open to the local community

The funds raised from these events are used to buy equipment and facilities to enhance the environment for the children. This includes:

• Equipping the newly completed Home Economics Classroom
• Ukuleles for the music room
• Refurbishment of the school library
• A trim trail
• And many many more…
