Empathy Week

This week, the children have been concentrating on developing their empathy skills. During their PSHEE lessons, children have completed activities that have focused on understanding and sharing the feelings of others. This year, the theme of ‘Empathy Week’ has been ‘Home’.

During one of the PSHEE lessons, the children learnt about refugees who have had to leave their country due to feeling unsafe. The children listened to a range of fictional stories to understand this sensitive topic further.
