European Day of Languages

On Thursday 26th September, we celebrated European Day of Languages.

Upper School began the day with an assembly to learn more about the purpose of the event and enjoyed greetings in range of languages from members of staff. The pupils have had fun working out where Stanley has been on his travels and which languages he may have heard – results to be announced next week!

Activities throughout the week have included baking, dancing, singing, German language taster lessons, Kahoot quizzes and food tasting. We are extremely grateful to the parents who came in to deliver activities – the children were engaged and loved learning from you.

A huge thank you to all pupils and parents for taking part – it has been a colourful and enjoyable day.
