Committee Appointments

Following our EGM last week, we are excited to introduce Mr Manoj Bhatia as our new Chair. We are delighted to have Manoj heading up our team. Manoj is the parent of a child in Nursery. He is enthusiastic to support the school and be part of his child’s experience at SPS.

Some words from Manoj:

‘I am excited to contribute to the committee’s important work and to help make a difference in the lives of all SPS students. I’m passionate about building a strong school community where students, parents and staff can all work together to support each other’s success’. 

Our school Bursar, Mr Philpott has kindly stepped in to serve as the Interim Treasurer. Thank you, Mr Philpott! We continue to seek a willing parent volunteer to fill this essential role. Please email thefriends@stainesprep.co.uk to find out more about the Treasurer position.

Preloved Uniform

The preloved uniform sale was a huge success last Friday. Thank you to all those parents who came to see us! Many thanks to Mx Atisen for all her wonderful assistance during the morning.

Festive Clothing Donation Request 

Are you planning to have a clear out during the half term holiday? We would love you to donate any Christmas jumpers or festive clothing. The school office will be happy to take any donations after half term and up until Monday 20th November. We will announce a date for our preloved festive clothing sale very soon. Your child will then be able to select an item ‘new to them’ for a bargain price.

Upcoming Events

• Friday 24th November – Christmas Gifting Room. This takes place during the school day for the children.
• Thursday 30th November – A Christmas shopping experience called ‘Elfridges’ for all families, taking place alongside The SPS Christmas Celebration Evening.
• Preloved Festive Clothing Shop – date to be announced in an upcoming bulletin.
