Poetry Together visits Daybreak Centre

On Tuesday a group of children visited the Daybreak Centre to recite and listen to poems with some elderly members of our local community as part of the Poetry Together scheme. Poetry Together is a programme which encourages schools to join up with local care homes to connect and celebrate poetry. The children were brilliant ambassadors of our school and showed kindness, respect and patience when talking with the elderly.
