We were delighted to accept a place at the competition with four of our Year 6 pupils: Kaavya, Rowan, Shreya and Vyvyan. On Tuesday 17th October. the children enjoyed an afternoon of maths challenges, competing against fellow schools. The challenges really tested their abilities and stretched their brains. On the agenda, were six maths puzzles and three bonus ‘teasers’, which were fun to solve. By the end of the afternoon, the team came 6th out of the 14 schools. The food was splendidly scrumptious, and the staff and sixth formers were extremely kind and encouraging.
The children really tried their best and were pleased with their place, even though they weren’t first they had enjoyed the challenge of the maths and working as a team.
Thank you to Radnor House School for the wonderful afternoon.
