Learning Support Assistant

• Salary: Up to £13,600 PA

We are looking for a caring, proactive, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support learning across our school. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential, supporting individual and group learning, promoting independence, and encouraging a positive and inclusive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and committed to making a difference in children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual pupils and small groups, including interventions and catch-up programs

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment

• Prepare classrooms and resources to create a stimulating environment

• Promote good behaviour and support pupils’ wellbeing

• Use ICT and other tools to enhance learning and track progress

• Communicate effectively with teachers, colleagues, parents, and external professionals

• Support pupils with additional needs or SEND to access the curriculum

• Follow safeguarding policies and ensure pupil safety at all times

• Participate in professional development and school appraisal processes
