Welcome Back!

A very warm welcome back to everyone, and welcome to our new families who have joined us this term.

We have had a busy first week back to school! During our INSET days, staff were once again updated on the latest information relating to Child Protection, Safeguarding and
Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023. We also had a guest presenter, Mr Richard Dunne, from the Harmony Project talk to the staff about sustainability, and how this
can be embedded into our curriculum, tying in with our Missions and Aims ‘Educating the children today for the challenges of tomorrow’. I look forward to seeing this
initiative develop over the coming year.

It has been wonderful to be back in school. Our first few days back this week have been full of excitement with children settling into their new classrooms and new routines. Please take a look at our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages where we will be celebrating all the wonderful achievements of the children this year. All diary dates for the year can be found on our school calendar on your parent portal. Each class continues to have their own class page on Seesaw for homework and learning.

We are all looking forward to an exciting year ahead at SPS.
