Year 3 World War II Day

On Tuesday 17th October, Year 3 pupils celebrated World War II Day. They came dressed as soldiers, evacuees, and land girls to name a few. They immersed themselves into games traditionally played by children during the War; decorated biscuits to eat during their VE Day celebrations and performed well-known wartime songs to their teachers.

It was wonderful to see the children engaged and enthusiastic to learn about life during this time – they all had a great day!

More photographs from the day can be found here.
