Year 6 Residential to Bath

Wow! What a week we have had touring the West Country! It has been brilliant to get out of the classroom and be able to explore history and geography in the real world for our Year 6 learning.

Our SPS pupils have been brilliant, taking on new challenges and showing real pride in representing their school. From Stonehenge to the Roman Baths, and SS Great Britain to Cheddar Gorge, they have experienced a fun-filled, exciting, and jam-packed week.

Children shared with us how they have loved the scenic views, and felt it was a great opportunity to meet and talk with people they do not normally get to be with. It was certainly action-packed, with phenomenal opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.

As one child has summed it up, “it has been a chance to create unforgettable memories that will last us a lifetime!”

Thank you to all of the staff for their energy, enthusiasm, commitment, and support over the week – the children really are lucky to have you all.
